Cambodia

I visited Angkor Wat with my then girlfriend with ulterior motives in mind...

I had already decided before we set off, that I would ask her to marry me during the trip. Thoughts of matrimony and family were very much on my mind as we traveled.

We awoke early on the last morning of the last day of 2007 to watch the sun rise. As the sky began to brighten above us, I made my intentions known on the back steps of the ancient Cambodian temple.

And so began a new journey...
